From 9am to 10am, explore the Family Area including the hydroslides, activity pool, aqua play zone, lap pool, and lazy river — all before public opening at 10am.
Whether you’re chasing thrills down the slides or soaking up the serenity of the morning, early entry means more time to relax, play, and create memories with your family.
Please note: Early Entry is an upgrade ticket only and must be purchased with a valid general admission ticket. Customers without general admission will not be granted entry.

Terms and conditions for Early Access Upgrade Tickets
Please read these prior to purchase
By purchasing a ticket, ticket holders accept the below terms and conditions as well as Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools & Spa terms of trade.
- The Early Access Upgrade Ticket allows entry to the Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools & Spa Family Area from 9:00am to 10:00am, one hour prior to the standard public opening time (10:00am).
- Areas accessible during early entry include: the hydroslides, activity pool, aqua play zone, lap pool, and lazy river.
- Early Access is an upgrade only and must be purchased in conjunction with a valid General Admission ticket.
- Customers without a valid General Admission ticket will not be permitted entry.
- No pass outs available between 9am – 10am.
- The ticket is valid Saturday 15 November 2025 only.
- Entry is valid for one use only and must be redeemed at the time of pool entry alongside a valid general admission ticket.
- The ticket cannot be exchanged for cash or used in conjunction with any other offer, promotion, or discount.
- Tickets must be presented (either printed or on a mobile device) at the gate for scanning to gain entry.
- Cancellations of confirmed bookings must be made at least 48 hours prior to arrival for a full refund.
- No refunds will be provided for cancellations made within 48 hours, failure to arrive.
- Tickets cannot be replaced if lost, stolen, or destroyed.
- Guests must comply with all Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools & Spa safety and facility rules at all times.
- Management reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person who breaches facility rules or behaves in a manner deemed unsafe or disruptive.
- Children under 8 years must be actively supervised by a caregiver aged 16 years or older.
- Children under 5 must be within arms reach of a caregiver ages 16 years or older.
- The Early Access Upgrade is available on selected days only, subject to operational requirements and capacity limits.
- Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools & Spa reserves the right to alter or cancel early access sessions at any time for maintenance, safety, or operational reasons. In such cases, affected guests will be offered an alternative date or refund.
- Lower level changing rooms and toilet facilities will be available (Activity pool changing area)
- There will be no hire items available during this time.
