Resident & Ratepayer Annual Swim Pass holders can enjoy dedicated lane swimming in our lap pool before the complex opens to the public. Available during the summer period, subject to change. Sessions run 9am–10am.
We are proud to be involved in the Water Skills for Life initiative, helping Hurunui tamariki learn the skills they need to stay safe in, on and around water. Water Skills for Life is New Zealand's national standard for aquatic education in primary schools, teaching children aged 5–13 the practical survival skills and knowledge to make smart decisions around water for life. The programme goes beyond traditional swimming lessons, teaching children to identify risks, make smart decisions, and develop the survival skills to get themselves out of tricky situations, all while building their confidence and love of the water.
